The Hamtramck Health Hike.....
was originally created by VISTA's working at the Piast Institute and the Hamtramck Drug Free Community Coalition. This event was to inspire others to get up on a Saturday morning to get up, get healthy, and commit to a drug free lifestyle. This "hike" has expanded to involve many volunteers in the community helping to create this FREE event to the community where participants receive t-shirts, lunch, and other activities promoting a healthy lifestyle.
